About the Founder

Meet the Host

Chesapeake Trivia is built around a simple belief: a good host can turn a night out into a room full of people who feel connected.

Hosting Philosophy

Trivia should have pace, warmth, and a little pop

After researching trivia around the area, I kept seeing the same missed opportunities: hosts without much charisma, long dead air between questions, and games that did the job but did not add much flavor. I want Chesapeake Trivia to meet people where they are, keep the night moving, and make the event feel specific to the room.

The goal is not to be flashy for its own sake. It is to help venues create repeatable community experiences where regulars bring friends, teams form habits, and local businesses feel supported.

7 Years Teaching

Teaching sharpened the timing, clarity, and room awareness that matter when you are guiding a crowd through a live night.

Theatrical Roots

More than a decade of theatrical experience means the microphone is not an afterthought. The room should have rhythm, presence, and personality.

Game Master Instincts

Decades around tabletop games built a love for pacing, stakes, story, rules, and the small moments that keep people invested.

Large-Room Hosting

Experience hosting in large bars, college bars, and corporate settings helps the night fit the crowd instead of forcing one format onto every room.
